Warriors first team with reversible championship rings.

The Golden State Warriors received their 2017-18 championship rings last night in a special ceremony prior to the team's 108-100 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. And they were no ordinary rings.

According to ESPN, the top of each ring is reversible. There are 74 sapphires on the "blue" side to represent the number of wins (regular season and playoff) by the Warriors last season. On the "white" side, 74 diamonds represent the win total. The face of the ring unscrews, revealing the team’s motto “Strength in Numbers,” allowing the wearer to flip the face of the ring from the blue sapphire background, to white diamonds.

As part of the "ring night" festivities, the Warriors players, coaches and staff also watched as their last championship banner was raised into the rafters at Oracle Arena. While the Warriors may very well have more rings and banners in their future, this is the last time they'll be celebrating at Oracle, as the team will move to Chase Center in San Francisco next season.
