New waves from Super Future: "Guap on Me."

Anyone who says Future's juice is less potent these days clearly didn't hear him on Savage Mode. Or on the majority of Project E.T., with surefire anthems like "100it Racks," "Married to the Game," "Who," and most of all, "Too Much Sauce." Each of the tracks embodied a different style that he's capable of. Fans digested Purple Reign and EVOL, both released in January, like fast food, and indeed, it was too much sauce for just one month. After months of starvation, the FutureHive is ready to eat once again.

Here's a new leak, entitled "Guap on Me," that sounds like it's quality enough to land on one of the few highly anticipated Hendrix projects that are hopefully nearing release -- Ape Sh!tBeast Mode 16, and Forever or NEVER. The lattermost tape will be a Freebandz compilation, and Future has hinted that it will be next up.

"Guap on Me" is a lush, ambient track that has Future in his feelings but with a sense of optimism that's largely a byproduct of the guap. He zones out on the hook, finding solace in synthetic and material things, but on the verses, he tears right into the sources of all his pain and inspiration. A classic formula.

Quotable Lyrics

I bought a dior poodles
I put the shrimp in the noodles
I gave you love like a guru
I see the will and the way
We laugh at you niggas and fuck your bitches
We don't know how to behave
