Famous Dex is fresh off of the release of his long awaited debut album, Dex Meets Dexter. The project perfectly showcased the two sides of his artistry. It's a project that many people waited a minute for and it's safe to say that the Chicago rapper delivered. While he's been putting out music for a minute, it was only until recently that he caught the attention of the masses the way he did. He recently spoke to us about his new project and explained how Dex Meets Dexter showcases two sides of his personality.
"The whole concept of Dex Meets Dexter is like this good guy meeting this crazy guy," Famous Dex explained. His latest project showcased the two sides of his personality and artistry. "Dex" is found on songs like "Japan" while Dexter is the guy you'd here on his mixtapes who's jumping in the crowd at shows and "havin' too much fun."
"The Dex is the melody side, you know? And a soft side, a cool side. I wanted to show my fans like, 'you got something for ladies, too." He said, "I wanted to show my fans more of the good guy, that's why it's Dex Meets Dexter."
