In true Drake fashion, Aubrey Graham chose to celebrate Houston Appreciation Week like no other with an over-the-top ceremony in which he retired the jerseys of three prominent exotic dancers Lira Mercer, Maliah Michel, and Miracle Watts on Friday (July 21).
The whole ceremony included a replica of the Larry O’Brien Trophy as seen in the NBA championships, and what appeared to be Louis Vuitton gift bags for the ladies.
For those unfamiliar with the three women, Lira Mercer can be recognized as the former fiancee of Rick Ross, previously known by the stage name of Lira Galore.
Maliah Michel is most familiar as the love interest in Drizzy's "Find Your Love" visual, and was rumored to be dating the rapper in 2010, while Miracle Watts received a notable name drop on " 2 On / Thotful."
Mercer later went onto Twitter thanking Drake for the gesture.
“Wow , made strip club history tonight. Got in , got out .. STILL relevant ♀️S/O to the BOY !! @Drake,” she wrote.
