Nicki Minaj reveals that Drake has turned in two tracks for her new album, The Pink Print", but it's still unclear whether they'll appear on the final version of the album.
A common question Nicki Minaj has faced about her upcoming studio album is whether or not Drake will make an appearance. Nicki was mysteriously absent from Nothing Was The Same (though a rift between the two was mentioned on the opening track, a classic Drake move), so fans are dying to know whether the two will reunite on Minaj's Pink Print.
The "Yasss Bish!!" rapper has generally dodged the topic up until this point, but was a little more up front about it in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest. âYou know what? So far heâs sent me two joints already for the album,â she revealed, but stressed this does not mean he'll officially make the cut. âWeâre still discussing them and still making some changes, but I donât have an official Drake song yet. So, I canât say that Drake will be on my album because I never want to just say stuff until itâs official. You know what I mean?â
She then spoke of her new ballad, and lead single from the album, "Pills N Potions", which was released earlier this week. âI feel like itâs kind of like a tragic love story,â she said. âAnd it doesnât even necessarily have to be like a boy and girl relationship. I just kinda feel like while I was working on the album I started realizing how much Iâve changed. How people change. And how people come in and out of your life and I just felt like talking about that. I had never really discussed thatâ¦I love that it has the [last] feeling of no matter what I still love. Thereâs still love there. And thatâs pretty much what the song means to me. I think so many people can relate to that.â
