DJ Mustard clarifies his comments on Iggy Azaela's "Fancy" and Jidenna's "Classic Man," saying that he has no intention to sue.

A few days ago, DJ Mustard stated what was already obvious to many people: Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" and Jidenna's "Classic Man" sound like complete "rip offs" of his style. The two tracks, the former of which is credited as a sample on the latter, have blown up in the wake of Mustard's popularity, but many were also quick to note that the producer's sound itself is pretty derivative of other eras and styles of music. Calling into Hot 97 today, Mustard clarified his remarks.

He compared the influence that Roger Troutman, hyphy and G-funk had on his sound to a mac & cheese recipe that gets passed down through generations, changing a bit with each new incarnation. He also reiterated that he has no plans to sue anyone.
