The Weeknd hops on "Nocturnal," the leadoff track on Disclosure's "Caracal."

Disclosure's sophomore album Caracal features a smorgasbord of talented R&B artists, including Sam Smith, Kwabs, Miguel, and chart destroyer The Weeknd. Disclosure bestows Abel the honor of appearing on Caracal's leadoff track "Nocturnal," which is right up his alley judging by the name alone.

"Nocturnal" is nearly 7 minutes long but not a slog in the slightest. It starts slow but quickly picks up energy and hums along at a brisk pace for the remainder of the track. The mix does well to make The Weeknd appear as though he's singing from the infinite abyss where he is most comfortable. "Nocturnal" wouldn't have sounded out of place on Beauty Behind the Madness.

Quotable Lyrics

Freedom in the loneliness
Always restless, story of my life
Disconnected, body clock's not right
Try to tell myself that, I'mma get some sleep tonight
