Every Monday, we've been getting new music from the Diggin' In The Crates collective, leading up to the release of their upcoming compilation. This week's record marks the third OC-driven track in the same number of weeks. "4 Da Block" finds the rapper approaching one of the most familiar samples in rap, and doing it justice.

Unlike "Get With The Program," which was built entirely off of promoting a healthy lifestyle, this one has more of a tradition aspiration-centric theme, giving it up for the people on the block trying to feed their families.

Look out for another new track from the collective next week. What's your favorite track so far?

Quotable Lyrics:
Nevertheless, you see them outside pitching them stones
In the heat of snow, with the gun in the vest
I'm not co-signing this lifestyle
It's what some are left with
Like a one-way exit
