Someone dressed as "Atlanta" character Teddy Perkins and sat in Donald Glover's seat at the Emmy's Monday night.

On Monday night, the Emmy Awards were taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, which recognizes the best in the television industry. FX hit show, Atlanta, which is created & starred in by Donald Glover, was up for "Lead Actor in a Comedy Series,” but unfortunately Donald didn’t win. Instead, Bill Hader’s HBO show Barry won, but that wasn’t what fans were talking about tonight. Fans noticed that sitting in Gambino’s seat was the creepy character Teddy Perkins from the show Atlanta.

The initial assumption that it was Donald Glover, who played Perkins in the show. However, minutes later, the actor was seen back in his seat, raising doubts on how quick a makeup job like that could even be possible so quick. So some fans soon theorized that Perkins could be Lakeith Stanfield, who was also in attendance at the show. It’s still unknown who it is dressed as Teddy Perkins while at the Emmy’s, but it’s a very Gambino move to say the least.

Check out the various tweets and comments (below) of Perkins sitting front row at the Emmy's.
