Denzel Curry and J.I.D. are about to put in work.

In what might just be the best news of the day, Denzel Curry and J.I.D. have hit the studio together. While it's unclear on what they're working on, it's still exciting to know that two of the best young lyricists are in the process of joining forces; it's like the old superhero cartoons (Spider-Man, X-Men, etc) when certain villains and heroes would team up, and you'd know shit was about to go down. Admittedly, we don't have much to go on here, but J.I.D. recently shared some footage from his Instagram story.

No, there's no actual music to be heard. At least, not yet. Still, when rappers go to the studio, it's generally for one specific purpose. And while J.I.D.'s still getting a little bit of mileage off his underrated The Never Story, Denzel Curry is hard at work at his upcoming project Taboo. The Floridian rapper has already been spotted in the studio with IDK, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him cooking up some last minute heat for the album. Last we checked, Denzel's been taking his time on this one, and let's be honest - getting a last minute J.I.D. feature on it would be worth the delay.

Speaking of J.I.D., the Dreamville signee recently released his lost Para Tu mixtape, and dropped off another one from the vaults - a freestyle over Eminem's "My Name Is." While he's a little more subdued than Denzel, both rappers are strong in both the lyrical and flow departments, and would no doubt make for an interesting and highly enjoyable pairing. Stay tuned for more news on this development.
