Following a violent home invasion earlier this month, Delicia Cordon, ex girlfriend of Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy, has reportedly decided to move out of the residence in Alpharetta, Georgia. According to TMZ Sports, sources connected to Cordon say she has moved to a home she considers safer, complete with private security.

Last week, Cordon's lawyer Tanya Mitchell Graham told CBS News that Cordon is "no longer certain" about McCoy's role in the home invasion, although she alleged McCoy set her up on the initial 911 call.

ESPN reports that Cordon's attorneys say she was sleeping in the home when a male assailant entered the house on July 10 and demanded "specific items of jewelry" that she had received from McCoy.

Per ESPN,

"The attorneys' statement alleges the assailant bruised Cordon's wrists in an attempt to remove a bracelet and also struck her in the head with a firearm. The statement also alleges that McCoy previously made comments about wanting the jewelry back from Cordon and said she could be robbed because the jewelry was expensive."

McCoy had been attempting to evict Cordon from the residence since last July, and reportedly directed "his family, friends and laborers" to remove Cordon's furniture from the home last month in an attempt to force her out.

The nine-year veteran running back, who was in Florida at the time of the incident, has denied any involvement, describing the accusations against him as "totally baseless" and "completely false."
