Back when the Common-Drake beef was happening, it was rumored that tennis player Serena Williams played a part-- she was coupled up with Common before the two parted ways, and then she reportedly linked up with Drizzy. Common later admitted that Serena was indeed the fueling factor, saying, "So unfortunately the war might have been over a girl, but at the time I never said that."
Now that Drake and Serena may be rekindling their relationship, at least for that one time they were spotted making out at the back of restaurant, how does Common feel about it? Will old beef also be rekindled?
Common was approached by TMZ, and he had nothing but nice things to say about Serena and Drake. The two have Com's blessing, "Serena is a friend of mine, as long as she happy I'm good. We dated, that's done, that's been done a long time ago, so it's now like we friends." He added a second time for good measure, "As long as she happy, I'm good."
