Chaz French is back with another project. He already dropped his debut album earlier in the year and quickly followed it with his latest effort, Kill Vol 1: A DMV Original. The latest project serves as a highlight of his friends and surrounding in the DMV. He brings out a slew of friends on this project including Fat Trel, Q Da Fool and many others.

The rapper says the reason for the mixtape was to "show the unity amongst the artist community there, shine light on new talent, and pay homage to our culture." He says the project is the first of many more to come although he does refer to it as a playlist, a la Drizzy.

The playlist delivers various types of sounds and styles from the region. While there are only six tracks on the project, it's thorough. Each song carries strength and reps the DMV properly.

Chaz French recently pulled up on us to kick off our HNHH freestyle series. Check that out below.
