It was a couple of weeks ago that Cardi B revealed that she'd be dropping off her "Cartier Cardi" single, her official solo follow-up to her "Bodak Yellow" smash. We're willing to bank on the fact that December 15th being host to a slew of high-profile releases led to a delay on that track's arrival.

However, fans who made their way to Hot 97's Hot FOr The Holidays show last week were able to hear a snippet of the track following Cardi's set. In a clip, the DJ spins the record for about 20 seconds as Cardi B and her entourage vacate the stage while making sure to remind the audience that the cut will soon be unleashed on the masses.

Previously, the same snippet was shared when the Bronx rapstress headed overseas for a performance in Manchester. "Cartier chain on Offset/Cartier frames on Offset/Cartier, Cardi B brain on Offset," Cardi can be heard spitting on the cut.

Currently, Cardi B is also readying her debut studio album, reportedly due out at the top of the year.

"I have a lot of pressure on me," she revealed in a series of tweets last month, touching the process of creating her album. "I have songs stashed up. I just don’t think they qualified for my album. Sometimes I think is [sic] ready sometimes I think it’s not so I’m going to take my time till it’s right."
