A$AP Rocky explains the scuffle that went down in a hotel elevator in Auckland, NZ last week.

Last week, many fans were dismayed to hear that A$AP Rocky was jumped in an elevator in Auckland while on tour in New Zealand. Soon after the news spread, Rocky hopped on Twitter to let everyone know he wasn't hurt and that the reported brawl was, in fact, just a "lil scuffle." Today, the Associated Press caught up with A$AP rapper, and he described the elevator scenario as a "fist exchange."

He explained that he had filed into a hotel elevator with some women and members of his security team when a certain male bystander attempted to get onto the elevator with them. When Rocky denied him, a conflict ensued and punches were apparently thrown. Even so, it does seem it was just a scuffle, as Rocky told the AP that no one in his camp was hurt.

"We didn't press no charges on nobody. They didn't press any charges on us. Everybody good," said the Mob leader.
