One of the more entertaining beefs we've had so far in the 2017-18 NBA season has been the war of words between the Pistons' Andre Drummond and the 76ers' Joel Embiid.

Both big men have propelled their respective teams to hot starts through the first quarter of the season, but there is definitely no love lost between these two. Back in October, after the Sixers cruised to a big win over the Motor City's hoops squad behind Embiid's monster night that included 30 points, the center had some choice words for Drummond after that game.

Embiid said that, "defensively, [Drummond] doesn't play any defense," according to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Keith Pompey. "When we started the game, he was being aggressive and he was talking, too. ... So what I was like [in my mind] 'You want to do that? I'm going to kick your [butt] then. So that's what I did." However, before last night's rematch, Drummond let it be known that Embiid hasn't done enough to back up his trash talking just yet.

"I mean you can't really have a conversation with a man who can't play a back-to-back," the Detroit center retorted, as per Fox Sports Detroit's Johnny Kane. "I've been playing for six years and I've missed maybe 4-5 games. So when he can play a whole season without taking a rest, he can come talk to me." To that point, Drummond has only missed 3 games since the start of the 2013-14 season.

Unfortunately for Pistons' fans, it was Embiid who got the last laugh on the court, with the Sixers triumphing over their team 108-103. To make matters worse, Drummond fouled out of the game with a decent amount of time left. Check out a clip from the game below.
