It's hard to believe it's been four whole years since Evidence and Alchemist released Lord Steppington, their collaborative tape as Step Brothers. While much has changed since 2014, the chemistry between the two rapper-producers is as consistent as ever, as can be heard in their new single "Lay Some Treats On Us." As you can tell from the title (an oft-sampled Fat Albert quote), the multi-talented artists are still having a lot of fun with their collaborations, as they hand bars back and forth over a darting string sample. It's the kind of urgent, head-nodding music we've come to expect from Step Brothers (not to be confused with the similarly talented Starlito and Don Trip).

Elsewhere, Evidence is fresh off of producing the entire new Domo Genesis tape and is dropping his new solo album Weather Or Not on January 26th. We'd be surprised if Alch doesn't make at least one appearance on that. Alchemist is, of course, busy as well. Listen to his Big Body Bes collaboration that kicked off the new year here.
