Adidas Originals takes us on a trip down memory lane in a new short film paying homage to the Equipment (EQT) line. The film titled "Only The Essentials" begins the tall tale of the sneaker by starting with the story of its inception in the late 80's and goes on to detail how the shoe evolved throughout the 90's into modern times. The very nostalgic visuals feature technological and social references that both make you wish it was 1999 again as well as go out and cop the new version of the Adidas EQT asap.
The EQT has seen a decent amount of evolution over the years including the revamped edition that King Push did for Adidas back in November. There was also an earlier version of the EQT dubbed the "93/17" back in December. Now, the German sportswear brand plans to launch the 2017 EQT in a dazzling "Turbo red" colorway.
