Ace Hood explains the meaning behind his song "Nobody Panic" for "Between The Lines."
Ace Hood's been going even harder since he made his departure from We The Best and went full on independent in his career. Any rapper who's made that transition successfully had to go through their own struggles to make it back on top. Ace Hood has been dropping some of the best records of his career over the past year. In 2017, he released Trust The Process and a few weeks a go, the rapper dropped off the follow up, Undefeated. His latest project featured the track, "Nobody Panic." The rapper recently joined us on the latest episode of "Between The Lines" and broke down some of the lyrics to the song.
Ace Hood broke down the first verse and hook of his track, "Nobody Panic" off of Undefeated. The rapper explained that it's one of his favorite joints and the song itself details the fact that despite the obstacles that's been in his way throughout his career, he's always managed to push through it all.
"I love 'Nobody Panic' for the simple fact of like I think throughout my circumstances, people have watched me go through the transition of being an independent artist and just my whole like journey, right?" He said, "I love this record in particular just solely because I feel like nobody panic. You know what I'm sayin'? I've had my struggles. We had our troubles but nobody panic, you know what I'm sayin'?"
