Awful Records continues to make noise out of Atlanta, and, today, we get to hear from lesser-known member, and the only lady in the crew, Abra. "U Ain't Got to Lie" is the lead single off, Jacuzzi, Abra's upcoming joint EP with Awful's Head Honcho Father, hot off the release of Who's Gonna Get Fucked First?
Abra seductively scoffs at her latest man's childish ploys to get her in the bedroom--"just tell it like it is, and do me right." Father knows what she means and creeps in at the end of the track to deliver some deadpan ratchet rhymes. We're now well-versed with Father's underground brand of sex raps, and Abra's free-flowing R&B is a nice addition to Awful Records' dark but oddly sexy new sound.
