Judging solely from the lyrics of her hit song "Bodak Yellow," Cardi B is a fan of many things: red-bottomed Louboutins, Yves Saint Laurent and making it rain in the club. She even did that last one with her fiancee Offset recently, showing the world that making those dollar bills fly can be a nice couples activity for the right kind of romantic pair. Now, Cardi is getting excited about a new kind of purchase ahead of the colder winter months: her Uggs.
A division of the Deckers brand, Ugg is a footwear company that specializes in those well-known fashion-forward boots that are must-haves for any woman come the fall and/or winter. When it comes to Cardi B's shoe closet, she can't have just one pair of the Uggs. Instead, she has one pair in pretty well every color and, well, she can barely contain her excitement.
"Oh s**t y'all, it's really Ugg season," shouted a gleeful Cardi B in a new video she posted to her Instagram account. The footage showed the rapper unpacking a large shipment of the famed boots that she had received, presumably direct from the company themselves.
"I got all of 'em," she exclaimed, getting a good luck at the boxes that contained pairs of the stylish footwear in black, grey and the best-known tan colors. However, perhaps her most prized Ugg possession are the custom designed pair with flames crawling up the sides of the boots, covering her ankles and ensuring that, no matter where she goes, she's gonna set the room on fire with her style.
It's a brief break in the hectic schedule that has swallowed up Cardi's professional life ever since "Bodak" took the world by storm. As a result of that success, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't feeling at least a little anxious about the new music she's getting ready to drop. "I have a lot of pressure on me," she admitted.
