Tyga, who announced his album release date yesterday, discusses the extra responsibility he has now that he's a father.

Tyga has been a very busy man, if not working on new music in the form of mixtapes or albums, or promoting his signature shoe with Reebok, the T-Raww, he has a new-born son to take care of. Cairo, who was born this past October, has helped the rapper grow as a person, as he told 106 & Park yesterday.

The Cali native appeared on the BET show yesterday, where he announced the release date for his upcoming album, Hotel California, and as well discussed his son.

"It definitely matured me a lot and made me appreciate life a little bit more," the 24-year-old rapper said of being a father. He said he's not worried about the extra responsibility that comes with being a dad. "It’s not really a challenge. It’s actually fun ’cause I’m a young parent. At the same time, I’m still enjoying my life," he said.

Some celebrities prefer to hide their private life, especially those of their children, but Tyga is not one of them. His son Cairo already has his own Instagram account. "Some people try to hide as much as they can about their personal life, but I just wanted to share it with the world. It’s a blessing," T-Raww says of his son.

Grab Hotel California on March 26th, and check out Tyga's appearance on 106 & Park below.
