Just in time for Mother's Day, Fat Joe releases new single "Momma" featuring Big Sean & Dre.

Fat Joe might’ve taken a little break from his music recently to concentrate more on his Coca Vision podcast on TIDAL, but don’t get it twisted the Terror Squad emcee is still preparing to release a new solo album later this year called The Book of Joe. After hitting us with the single “Pick It Up” back in January, the Bronx veteran decides to return to the scene today and share a new single with Big Sean & Dre (of Cool & Dre not Dr. Dre) called “Momma,” which appropriately arrives just in time for Mother’s Day weekend.

Over some soulful production from Cool & Dre, Joe & Sean reflect on their upbringing and share their gratitude for their “momma's,” just as the title depicts. Meanwhile Dre comes out from behind the boards & handles the hook and second verse, impressing us with both his vocals & bars. "My momma she the shit, reason why I'm so legit/ she the one that made a nigga like dis,” he spits on the chorus.

Take a listen and let us know what you think. (Record available on iTunes).

Quotable Lyrics:

Look you my red carpet date
They aint seen it like this since Donda & Ye
My momma got led poison in
So why the fuck you think she care so much about the girls & boys in Flint?
She like they gotta go from boys to men
From princess to queens
And if they ain't being heard then you gotta be their voices then

- Sean
