The man was badly hurt in the accident.

While some sneaker heads probably feel as though they have to suffer to get their Yeezys, it's probably not as bad as what this guy had to go through while making them.

We previously reported that an Adidas employee carrying a large 3D printer dropped it on his foot, trapping him underneath it. Audio footage of the 9-1-1 call, obtained by TMZ, made by one of the other employees reveals that the machine was pressed on top of his leg, arm, and head, causing a laceration to his head and serious damage to his foot and ankle. The man was trapped underneath the machine for several minutes, and it took seven people and a pallet jack in order to finally lift the printer off of him.

The paramedics who arrived deemed the injury serious enough that the man was airlifted from the building to the nearest hospital, but according to the call, he maintained consciousness throughout the incident, and he didn't sever his foot or anything else.

While the current status of the man is unknown, it didn't appear as though any of his injuries were actually life threatening. Hopefully Adidas puts new rules in place in order to ensure that nothing like this ever happens again. And next time you go to lace up your fresh pair of Yeezys, remember the brave men and women who put their lives on the line in order to have you looking your best.
