Kobe Bryant and Ayesha Curry have also shared their thoughts on Trump's tweet.

Donald Trump has withdrawn Steph Curry and The Warriors' invitation to the White House. In a Saturday morning tweet, the president said that due to Curry "hesitating" to make an traditional visit to DC with his title-winning team, he will no longer be allowed to do so. The decision comes after Curry made it clear that he will voting "no" on a potential White House trip. "I don't want to go," he said in a press conference, citing that denying Trump a visit could potentially "inspire some change" in the country. "I don't think us not going to the White House is going to miraculously make everything better, but this is my opportunity to voice that."

LeBron James has tweeted a response to Trump, questioning his suggestion that visiting the White House is "a great honor" and pointing out that Curry was clear that he had no interest in attending. Oh yeah, he also called him a bum. "U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite," he wrote. "Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!"

Kobe Bryant has also shared his thoughts on the matter, writing, "A #POTUS who's name alone creates division and anger. Who's words inspire dissension and hatred can't possibly "Make America Great Again.""

While Curry himself has not responded publicly, his wife Ayesha replied directly to Trump's tweet, giving him an eyeroll before directing attention to earthquake relief.

Trump's tweet comes after he criticized NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem Friday. Players have also been publicly responding to those comments.
