Okafor is headed to BK.

The Philadelphia 76ers have agreed to trade Jahlil Okafor to the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe and Adrian Wojnarowski. In addition to Okafor, the Sixers will also send shooting guard Nik Stauskas to BK in exchange for Trevor Booker and a 2019 second round pick via the New York Knicks.

The Sixers drafted Okafor third overall in the 2015 NBA Draft and he averaged 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds over 53 games while earning first-team All-NBA Rookie team honors during his first season. However, he has appeared in just two games this season.

In Brooklyn, Okafor will get the chance to team up with the player who was selected before him in the 2015 Draft, D'Angelo Russell. Eventually. The 21-year old point guard is still recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and there's no timetable for his return.

The Nets, 9-14 on the season, are currently in Mexico City for a couple of games which includes a matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight and a game against the Miami Heat on Saturday.
