Young up-and-comer Mir Fontane has blessed his fans with a new mixtape today (March 22). Fontane's follow up to Camden continues to deliver with beats that will rattle your soul. Released through XXL, the Macaroni Tony EP features 10 tracks, and clocks in at just over 20 minutes. Fontane continues to shine while displaying his storytelling abilities and hard-hitting bars. The project features production from Kenif Muse, Kev Rodgers, Mike Zombie, and Kees.
Fontane sat down with XXL to explain the title of his latest project. "Macaroni Tony is a persona I created based on the rumors and misguided perspectives people made about me during my transition from underground to gaining mainstream attention," he stated. "The Macaroni Tony EP is a short story I created to paint a picture of a mental struggle between trying to stay rooted to your hometown while also pursuing your own dreams outside of where you were raised."
