50 Cent has new plans for "The 50th Law."

Rappers have been citing best-seller The 48 Laws Of Power for years now, but few have actually join forces with author Robert Greene to write a follow-up. And of course, it had to be 50 Cent - the man all but embodies the philosophies put forth in Greene's popular and controversial tome. The book uses anecdotes from historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, Sun Tzu, Socrates, Napoleon, Malcolm X, and James Baldwin to exemplify the laws.

With laws that include "Get Others To Do The Work For You, But Always Take The Credit," "Crush Your Enemy Totally" and "Never Appear Too Perfect," The 48 Laws Of Power seems in line with 50 Cent's combination of ruthlessness and business acumen, so much so that he found himself working on The 50th Law, which came out in 2009.

Today, 50 Cent took to Instagram to make an announcement of sorts, which directly involves The 50th Law. "I’m developing the 50th LAW, into a series if you haven’t come across it check it out," announces 50, and while it's unclear whether he means a television series or a book series, logic seems to favor the former. After all, Fif is no stranger to television, a fact well documented by his involvement in Power.

Again, this is merely an announcement of the development stages, which means any tangible results are still far from coming to fruition. Still, it's good to know The 50th Law remains on 50's radar. Stay tuned for more on his upcoming series, whenever news may arise.
