"You better believe I'll be back better than ever."

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. underwent successful surgery on his left ankle last night, just a little over 24 hours after he fractured it during the team's Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Giants confirmed the news yesterday afternoon that their star 24-year old wideout would be undergoing surgery and would miss the remainder of the season, which has been nothing short of a nightmare for Eli Manning and co.

This morning, Odell took to instagram to share an update along with an encouraging message that he'll be back and better than ever.

Beckham had 25 catches for 402 yards and three touchdowns in just four games this season. He missed the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys due to an ankle injury suffered during the preseason, which happens to be the same ankle he fractured on Sunday.

In addition to losing Beckham for the season, the Giants will also be without veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Marshall was one of the four NYG wide receivers injured during Sunday's loss and he will also require surgery to repair his injured ankle.

According to NJ.com, "The Giants have promoted wide receivers Ed Eagan and Travis Rudolph from the practice squad and re-signed wideout Tavarres King to account for the three players lost for the year. The Giants also re-signed receiver Darius Powe to their practice squad."
