Cassie is back with new single "Don't Play It Safe."

It's been a minute since we've really heard from Bad Boy's Cassie. In fact, her last full length project (the eponymous Cassie) was released eleven years ago, and since then, she's kept it relatively low key. However, it looks like the singer is mounting a comeback, kicking things off with an appearance on G-Eazy's "Love A Loser," and now coming through with a new single "Don't Play It Safe." To make matters even better, the track is produced by the slept on Montreal-based producer Kaytranada

The track is currently available in select international markets, due for a widespread release at midnight. In it, Cassie lays down a few ground rules, singing "Don’t wanna wait for all these rules and confirmations, if you want me, gotta take it, if we change the pace up.” It's not clear whether or not she's gearing up for a new album, but this increased activity certainly points to something.

Quotable Lyrics

Don’t wanna wait for all these rules and confirmations,
If you want me, gotta take it, if we change the pace up
