Ghett Out: Funerals & Court Dates 2 is one of three new mixtapes from Starlito, who has now released eight projects in 2017, including his collaborative Step Brothers projects with Don Trip. Trip shows up on two tracks here, but unlike the accompanying Starlito's Way 4 and Insomnia Addict 2 (with which it shares a few tracks), Funerals & Court Dates 2 has a classic mixtape feel, featuring freestyles over familiar production from Just Blaze and Jazze Pha. It shares many of the same collaborators as SW4, including Killa Kyleon, Mobsquad Nard, and Landlord.
Earlier this year, Lito shared Hot Chicken, Attention Tithes & Taxes 2: Gentrifried, Step Brothers 3, Manifest Destiny, and Step Brothers (Karate In The Garage). He may not receive nearly enough credit for both the quality and quantity of music he's been putting out, but the close followers of the Nashville rapper will be happy to hear more new music.
