Back in October, New York rapper Bishop Nehru announced that he was working on a new album called ELEVATORS: ACT I & II, which he said would be produced by MF Doom & Kaytranada, but before that arrives he’s got a new mixtape to share with us first. Amidst today’s insanely long list of new projects, Bishop released a new project called Emperor Nehru's New Groove.
Laced with 16 tracks in total, the follow up to last year's Magic 19 tape features a lone appearance from HIDEYOURENVY, who appears on the song “deathisanillusion.” Meanwhile production is handled by the likes of Jay808, Alexx, The ShellGod, and Bishop Nehru himself.
“i came up with the concept for this project in 2014. the real nehruvians know. i thank all of you so much for actively letting me know how much you want new music and how much it has helped your lives. i love every one of you more than you could imagine. available on all your favorite outlets, i present to you all “emperor nehru’s new groove,” he shared on IG today.
