Ace Hood has been grinding all year. In August, the fan-favorite rapper dropped his anticipated Trust The Process mixtape, which was met with immediate acclaim from fans. It's been a refreshing look for Hood, as his previous album Trials And Tribulations came out over four years ago. And while some may have feared that the Floridian rapper missed out on his prime years, Trust The Process proved that the ex-Khaled disciple could still spit fire, even after a lengthy hiatus. Now, the rapper continues to make up for his absence, delivering yet another new single and accompanying video called "3 Bless."
The track carries forward with the momentum Trust The Process built, and Ace Hood delivers rapid fire intensity straight out the gate. Over some eerie synths and intense trap-drums, Hood spits lyrics like "I'm on a new level it's a loose rebel, took the Don P from the wine cellar, got an upgrade on the time-teller, got some Vans on not the Margielas, need a Pallbearer, kill a n***a with a sixteen, flow came with a wind-chiller, need a chinchilla n***a too cold." While Ace Hood sometimes opts for a more methodical, slow-paced flow, "3 Bless" proves he can slide over a beat with ease.
The single also comes with some visuals, and the Brian Willette directed clip finds Ace Hood wilidin' out in Dubai. It feels like a rite of passage for rappers to live lavish in Dubai, doesn't it? Surrounded by cartoonishly colorful whips and beautiful women, Ace spits bars with reckless abandon, no shirt-necessary. It's a pleasant surprise for Ace Hood fans, especially coming off the recent drop of his two-part video for "To Whom It May Concern" & "Came With The Posse," which you can check out in the link above.
