Controversial Broward County rapper Ski Mask The Slump God hoped to receive a nomination to one of the most prestigious honors in hip hop: the XXL Freshman Class. However, the Florida native announced on Twitter Tuesday that he failed to make it on the coveted list.
Ski Mask, who has strong ties to fellow Broward County resident XXXTENTACION, has made a name for himself with his particular brand of rap music. The young upstart opened for Desiigner on The Outlet tour until he was kicked out for beefing with Rob $tone. He recently released "Bowser" -- a collaboration with X -- as well as "BabyWipe."
XXXTENTACION and Rob $tone are still on the list of rappers eligible for this year's XXL Freshman class.
