"Jaylen brown and the Boston Celtics have my blessings."

Lil B has spoken. The Boston Celtics have his blessing heading into the 2017-18 season.

After sharing a photo with Cs forward Jaylen Brown earlier this week, The Based God officially announced on twitter, "Nba jaylen brown and the Boston celtics have my blessings this year for the @Nba blessings !!! Congrats to jaylen for being real! - Lil B."

Lil B's tweet about his Celtics support comes just days after he threatened to curse Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball for recent comments he made about Nas and "real hip-hop." During the premiere episode of the Ball family's reality series, "Ball In The Family," Lonzo told one of the producers, "That’s not gonna happen. Y’all outdated, man. Don’t nobody listen to Nas anymore […] Real hip-hop is Migos, Future.”

Lil B's basketball curses (and blessings) date back to 2011 when he cursed Kevin Durant for hating on his music. He later lifted the curse after the Thunder lost in the NBA Finals before putting it back on in 2014. More recently, The Based God has been occupied with Houston Rockets All-Star James Harden, who he claims stole his signature dance move, though the curse was lifted earlier this year.

Event without Lil B's blessing, the Boston Celtics are projected to have the most wins in the Eastern Conference in the upcoming season. According to Jeff Sherman, manager of the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, the Boston Celtics are listed at 56.5 wins following the Kyrie Irving trade, slightly ahead of the 53.5 wins that LeBron and the Cavs are expected to hit.

With Lil B's blessing, expect the Celtics to hit the over on that 56.5 win total.
