In the 2nd set of the Sarasota Open match between Frances Tiafoe and Mitchell Krueger last night, the action had to be stopped due to the distracting sounds coming for a nearby apartment, where a couple was loudly having sex for all to hear.
At first, the announcer Mike Cation was unclear where the sounds were coming and chalked it up to someone playing an "adult video" on their phone.
“Well, that is the most bizarre situation. I don’t know how to put this, folks, but somebody’s phone going off in the stands,” he said on the live stream. “And it was an adult video.”
He ultimately figured it out, though.
“I still hear it. It’s still going! What is going on!”
“Nope, that is not a phone. That’s an apartment across the lake.”
