The teaser for White Men Can't Jump premiered back in February to pretty mixed reactions on social media. Some thought the film looked pretty good and were intrigued by it. "Why does White Men Can’t Jump with Jack Harlow actually look really good…" one tweet read. Others, however, felt that the trailer failed to capture the magic of the original film. "Sorry, I don't see the same personality and charisma that Snipes and Harrelson had," one user complained. "I'll pass. Hope I'm wrong."
The new trailer gives us a better glimpse at both Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls, who star in the lead roles. Both characters are in need of money, so they devise a plan to enter a basketball competition that could win them $50,000. New footage also shows the characters' strained interpersonal relationships as they are both chided for having their heads in the clouds. White Men Can't Jump will be released in mid-May on Hulu.
