Also, the highest-rated recruit Memphis signed for the upcoming season. Williams had also received offers from Arizona State, Kansas, Arkansas, and Alabama State. However, the high school guard landed on taking his talents to Memphis with head coach Penny Hardaway. The Memphis basketball program has yet to release a public statement on the situation.
