Aaron Rodgers has made up his mind.

Throughout this entire week, fans have been wondering what Aaron Rodgers is going to do next. Of course, he is one of the most polarizing players in the league. Moreover, he is a phenomenal quarterback who can do incredible things on the field. However, every single offseason, he takes some time to reflect on whether or not he wants to play again. Just a few weeks ago, he did just that by going into a darkness retreat. Subsequently, Rodgers came out of the darkness and fans were even more confused than they were before.

Last week, it was revealed that the New York Jets had actually traveled to meet with Rodgers as they wanted to trade for him. Overall, the meeting seemed to go quite well. This was backed up earlier in the week when premature reports stated how a Rodgers trade to the Jets was imminent. Since that time, fans have been waiting for Rodgers to make up his mind. Yesterday, it was revealed that he would give his decision on The Pat McAfee Show today at 1 PM EST. In the end, he revealed that his mind was made up days ago as Rodgers does, indeed, want to play in New York.

Aaron Rodgers Tells All

Overall, Rodgers went in-depth on the past few weeks. Essentially, he went into his retreat thinking he would retire. However, he came out and saw that the Packers wanted to shop him. That's when he decided that maybe it would be best to play for at least one more year. He liked what the Jets were promising him, and so he told them his intentions. As for the trade. Rodgers says it is just a matter of time before it happens. The Packers just want to get what they believe Rodgers is worth, which means there could be a few more negotiations.

Regardless, it has become clear that Rodgers and the Packers are no more. Overall, it was an amazing relationship that led to one Super Bowl. Now, Rodgers will get to turn the Jets into playoff contenders. Whether or not they contend for the Super Bowl, is still up in the air. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments below.
