17-year-old Reg Mason is a Union, NJ artist whose music finds a balance between hip-hop and Jersey Club. His new submission, "Repulsive Boy," is danceable, high BPM record that features a guest appearance from AJ Radico, but the vocal performance is but one element of the shape-shifting record. Nimble raps bounce off of bending basslines and unpredictable drum patterns before being spliced with a frenetic sample-based break that brings the energy of Jersey Club in full swing. Mason describes the sound as "punk hop," and will be releasing a project titled Dayton Convoy on June 16th. "Repulsive Boy" serves as the first single.
