After releasing four solid projects in 2016, 2 Chainz is getting ready to launch his 4th studio album on April 7th. The highly anticipated Pretty Girls Like Trap Music should showcase more of the catchy, quotable ATL street rap Tity 2 Necklace excels in, but before that he's shared "Wassup Wid It," which also falls into that category. Teaming with DJ Holiday, a legend in the ATL mixtape scene, Chainz takes on a woozy beat as he kicks out some casually stylish flows and punchlines like "Ain't talkin about the dentist, n*gga/When I say I got plaques."
Chainz recently made two big appearances, showing up on Fate Of The Furious crew track "Gang Up" as well as More Life highlight "Sacrifices."
