Villa settles into his pocket on the track and in life.

Atlanta rapper Villa has been crafting his wavy, R&B sound for a while now. His latest track “Pocket,” uses the metaphor of a beat’s pocket to describe the groove he’s settling into career-wise. It also doubles as a way for him to show off his comfort within the pocket of the laid-back beat Richie Souf crafted for him.

The track is part of Villa’s weekly #MDNGHTMASS series, so you can definitely expect more from him in the coming weeks. His last release on HNHH was "STFUNG" at the beginning of Feburary.

Quotable Lyrics

Quit college just to get dollars
they ain't teach me how to get my paper up
stopped turning in my homework
I ain't wanna get a paper up
