Listen to Vince Vladimir's drill-inspired new record.

Vince Vladimir is a 19-year-old rapper out of Chicago's west side. Coming from a single mother and a bigger brother nothing came easy. His sound is very much informed by the gritty drill music scene within the city, and Vince's style resembles the precise, nimble raps of Lil herb and Lil bibby more than a more freeform artists like Chief Keef. His execution is impressive, making him a promising new artist out of an exciting scene.

He writes of himself:

"Vince had to work for a lot of things to make sure family was happy and good, but poetry and music was his heart. Vince started writing poems and raps at the young age of 11 and started to get interested in recording music at age 17, and since then has released one single Aiming to Score (Tesla and Porsche). His family does not believe music is the right way to go and they constantly persuade him to go to school and get a degree, trying to down him if he doesn't. This song was wrote to inspire and persuade others to go out and work hard for what they really want regardless of what others think. This is definitely not the last song coming from Vince Vladimir, expect to hear a lot more coming from this young artist."
