On Friday, modern funk artist Dam-Funk shared a seven-minute instrumental entitled "Human Dust." It revolves around soothing G-Funk pads that allows the melody to oscillate between the upper and lower registers. There is no percussion until the very end. Thus, this song is all about ambience, ideal for the evening smoke sesh. The intangible stresses of life can be much to handle, and sometimes you need the sounds of Dam-Funk to soothe the soul.
Dam-Funk is a G-funk god. Hopefully he makes onto the new YG album. Or, the new Snoop album.
