Alchemist was kind enough to give us a double dose of new music today. For his second release of the day, Alchemist gave Blue sole possession of his instrumentation, resulting in “Cobb.”
Blu still has magic with the pen, stringing together alliterative verse to create vibrant pictures. For the instrumental, Alchemist stuck to his most recognizable sound, looping jazz piano over boom bap drums for a slightly off kilter beat that still forces the listener to nod their head.
