I'm A Star

Kardinal teams up with DJ Snake for a brand new promo single.

BYLloyd Jaffe

You might know Kardinal Offishall as that guy from "Dangerous;" you might know DJ Snake as the mastermind behind that fucking "Turn Down For What" song you can't avoid for more than two hours at a time. In both cases, you'd be drastically underappreciating two of music's most consistent performers--two men who have earned the right to say "I'm A Star." A fresh new promo single for both artists involved, this DJ Snake-produced club banger isn't a far cry from "Turn Down." While more subdued and featuring some actual lyrical content, the track is still very much focused on getting the dancefloor packed. In other words, lyrical heads, this probably won't be your cup of tea (it's more like a shot of whiskey). For everyone else, the party just won't turn down.

"I'm A Star" is not currently attached to any known project. Be sure to follow Kardinal and Snake on Twitter at @KardinalO and @djsnake respectively.

Quotable Lyrics:

She said slow down baby
Silhouette was phenomenal; body was crazy
She graduated from the class
From the Good Body College where they study the ahh
