Praised for his lyricals skills, CyHi The Prince debut album is slated to do some damage this summer. In the meantime, the GOOD Music emcee has blessed us with visions of "Nu Africa."
The music video takes place in inner city America. Crowds of protesters gather to express their discontent with the current status quo. CyHi raps that Black people should all move to Africa build their own society in the pursuit of happiness. Youths in trouble are transformed for the better by an underground beam of light. The song's production harkens back to 90s era Afrocentrism, Illmatic and jazzy beats with Ernestine Johnson spitting knowledge near the end.
