Prince's unexpected death shook the music world earlier this year, but it also united fans in celebrating the miraculous accomplishments of the legendary singer and performer behind classic albums like Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times. After spending the last few months revisiting Prince's vast back catalogue, we now get to hear some previously unreleased material from the Purple One.
Titled "Moonbeam Levels," the uplifting track is said to date from the 1999 sessions, and will appear om the upcoming compilation Prince 4ever. The collection will include both well-known hits from Prince as well as some never-before-heard outtakes. The track was premiered on ABC News, as a few lucky fans were treated to hearing the song for the first time in the studio.
