In the video for "Told Ya," the lead single off V-Day II EP, Dipset-affiliate Vado and his wingman Chinx wax lyrical in the shadow of such NYC landmarks as the Corona Park Unisphere and the Manhattan Bridge.
Dolla Bill Kidz provides a nostalgic beat for Vado to reflect on his upbringing on the streets of Harlem. Chinx's gliding autotune vocals on the hook contrast nicely with Vado's throwback, salt-of-the-earth east coast flow. The duo's chemistry is evident both visually and aurally, and indeed this isn't the first time they've collabed -- they linked up in November for "Doin My Thing."
