Janelle Monae was commissioned by Pepsi to create a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes" for their new ad campaign. The song dropped at the beginning of April, and Janelle follows that up today with an official music video for the track.
Directed By Alyssa Pankiw, the music video features young children playing different games. The song will appear on Pepsi's new album Pepsi Beats of the Beautiful Game which will contain 11 new records and short films to match, that all revolve around the sport Football. The soundtrack arrives on June 10th and features contributions from Kelly Rowland, Janelle Monáe, Rita Ora, Don Omar, Santigold, Timbaland and more.
